Role of the support engineering: 

  • Understand customers’ environment and how/where Cyral fits
  • Collaborate with customers to use Cyral to solve problems 
  • Advocate for and provide a stellar customer experience
  • Serve as voice of customer, funneling usability feedback to product  
  • Support customers through initial Cyral deployment as well as provide ongoing support as needed

A successful support engineer will: 

  • Have an in-depth understanding of the Cyral product architecture, features, and  integrations and be able to configure and troubleshoot these features and integrations
  • Have a fluent understanding of IaaC and core data platform technologies
  • Be very comfortable with Cyral deployment methods, including troubleshooting: CloudFormation, Terraform, and Helm
  • Have a strong customer orientation, a bias for action and ownership, and a desire to solve problems


  • Prior experience working in a technical support capacity with enterprise customers
  • Understanding of AWS, data platform technologies, networking, and infrastructure as code
